HHO: Introduce yourself to the fans

WISDOM: WISDOM is a musician, producer, and aspiring tattoo apprentice at
Addiction Tattoo and Piercing in Gainesville, Fl. While attending the University of Florida, I am pursuing my dream in the arts. I make the kind of music I am always looking for. I believe that music and art is one of the only ways to truly speak to people and if I never make a dime, I will ALWAYS create

HHO: How did your artist name come about?

WISDOM: I used to go under the pseudonym “four a.m.” for live performances, but WISDOM implanted a mission in me. I could keep four a.m. with me, but I could also achieve something much greater. WISDOM is not who I think I am, its who I aspire to be.

HHO: Where are you from?

WISDOM: Gainesville, FL (Born and Raised in the Tampa Bay Area)

HHO: Who were your musical influences growing up?

WISDOM: So many, not all hip-hop so here goes:
Metallica, Led Zeppelin, The Killers, Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish,
Twenty one pilots (before blurryface), Eminem, Dr. Dre, BB King, Eric Clapton,
50 Cent (The Massacre was my 13 th birthday present), Kanye West,
ASAP Rocky, Watsky, Lil Dicky, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q

HHO: What hip-hop albums did you grow up listening to?

WISDOM: Everything Kanye West ever made. Eminem – ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ , Common – ‘Be’, ‘Can I Borrow A Dollar’, Lupe Fiasco – The Cool,
Lil Wayne – Tha Carter, Chance The Rapper – #10DAY, and Acid Rap,
A$AP Rocky – Live.Love.A$AP, Kendrick Lamar – ‘Section 80’, ‘Good Kid, m.A.A.D. City’, ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’, Watsky – ‘xInfinity’,
Lil Dicky – ‘Professional Rapper”,

HHO: What is the current single/project that you are promoting?

WISDOM: #THEAMERICANDREAM OUT MARCH 20!!

HHO: How did the record come about?

WISDOM: I lost my brother early last year and my father not too long after. Both unexpected an extremely sudden. During this time I started looking for a
tattoo apprenticeship and found Addiction Tattoo and Piercing. They took
me in as family and I am still studying the trade to this day. Art is my
passion, not just music. During my training, the guys were particularly hard
on me, but only to refine me. They were crafting me into a honed
instrument. Little did they know they inspired the hell out of me, and in my
free time I channeled that inspiration into my latest project
#THEAMERICANDREAM.

HHO: What would be your dream collaboration with any rapper or producer?

WISDOM: Chance the Rapper or A$AP Rocky hands down. Their work was so methodical, so deliberate. I study these guys, and I research whom they studied. A$AP interviews are chicken soup for my soul.

HHO: How is the response from your fans & djs been?

WISDOM: Fans have been phenomenal. People just want some dap, so when peoplereach out on social media we have a conversation. It brightens my day, and
I get to spread my message. DJs have reached out to me and some collabs in the works. Stay tuned 

HHO: What artists do you listen to the most?

WISDOM: Chance, Skepta, Wiley, A$AP Rocky(A$AP MOB) – RIP YAMS, Danny Brown, Kendrick, Schoolboy Q

HHO: What are your plans for 2017? What are you doing that others are not?

WISDOM: My plan for 2017 is to put FL on the map for LEGITIMATE Hip-Hop heads. I know there are a few out there, but nowhere on the level of ATL, NY, CHI, TX, and Cali. I want to spread a message of both positivity, and also dissatisfaction with the status quo. The American Dream does not mean
what it used to, well I am making mine, and I implore others to do so as well.
