HHO: Introduce yourself to the fans

Christo: Whats up everyone its your boy Christo from LITMOB. 2016 was a huge step for my movement and I’m looking to keep momentum up in 2017. Im 21 years old and hungrier than ever. Make sure to follow me on instagram @ChristoLITMOB and watch me continue to grow into the artist I know I will become.

HHO: How did your artist name come about?

Christo: Christo is my birth name. I chose to use my real name as a stage name because I really just talk about my life in my music. I don’t front and pretend to be someone I am not so thats why I wanted the people to know the true artist behind the music.

HHO: Where are you from?

Christo: I was born in Redwood City,CA and lived in the San Francisco area until about age 6. My hometown is Modesto,Ca that city raised me man.

HHO: Who were your musical influences growing up?

Christo: Tupac, Mary J blige, Dr. Dre. I find inspiration with all music and life. West coast culture is definitely something I try to embody but I never try to make music for only one type of demographic.

HHO: What hip-hop albums did you grow up listening to?

Christo: ALL EYEZ ON ME is one of my favorite albums ever. Pac taught me how to rap and I spent a lot of time studying his flow and delivery. Also the way he did his adlibs and doubles. I remember when I was about 10 years old my mom bought me the clean version of Eminems Curtain call and I fell in love with the body of work.

HHO: What is the current single/project that you are promoting?

Christo: I just released my newest EP titled, ” Help (A Westside Tale) ” the project has 5 songs with features from artists like Nef The Pharaoh and Young Gully.

HHO: How did the record come about?

Christo: I wanted to separate myself from what is popping in the mainstream right now. I found a producer named Heartbeatz out of Germany and his sounds totally complimented my lyrics. The project explains life in the rap game and being a kid growing up on the West Coast. Be on the look out for Help (A Westside Tale Pt. 2)
What would be your dream collaboration with any rapper or producer? I definitely would love to work with a lot of artists but my top 5 would have to be Big Krit, Bas, Game, Dr. Dre and Kendrick.

HHO: How is the response from your fans & djs been?

Christo: Help (A Westside Tale) has already been Christo’s most successful project and its only been out for 2 weeks. The fans are showing incredible support and Dj’s around the central valley california area have noticed. We Ballin’ Feat. Nef The Pharaoh has gotten radio play in cities such as Modesto, San Jose, Humboldt and San Francisco/Bay Area.

HHO: What artists do you listen to the most?

Christo: Lately I have been listening to a lot of Isaiah Rashad, Dom Kennedy and Bas.

HHO: What are your plans for 2017? What are you doing that others are not?

Christo: My plan for 2017 is to be able and provide myself and family with financial freedom. I grind and will outwork anyone. I don’t have too much pride to be my own hype man when its needed. I believe in this movement more than I have ever believed in anything else. No one will out hustle me.

HHO: How can your fans reach you?

Christo: Find me on all social Media @ChristoLITMOB instagram is definitely my favorite outlet.
